| The Fan |
Simulates an electric home oscillating floor fan (more specifically the one I own). Lower keys simulate slower fan speed, while higher keys simulate higher fan speed. This patch is really just meant to demonstrate the power of the XV synth engine (the engine used in the Fantom). No samples are used, honest. |

| Ambulance |
Simulates an ambulance siren (as commonly heard in the US). System Controller 1 (usually modulation) increases the perceived distance of the ambulance to the listener (by increasing reverb and decreasing volume). System Controller 2 (usually aftertouch) increases the siren modulation rate so it sounds like the siren speeds up as System Controller 2 value increases. System Controller 4 (usually breath) controls right panning as the controller value increases (system controller 3 was not used). |

This dark version of the UltimatGrnd+ patch darkens the piano for a more concert piano sound. I tried to retain the expressiveness and smooth velocity switching. The patch is darkened by essentially shifting the samples for each key down 4 semi-tones as well as use of a velocity sensitive LPF for each Tone. |

| SRXDarkGrnd1 |
A major improvement on the poorly done piano patches found on the SRX-02 Concert Piano expansion board. Though the samples are decent on that board, the patches are not, leaving velocity switching during performances highly detectable. This patch uses the first of the two waveform sets on the SRX-02 board and improves on the many flaws of the included patches that come on that expansion board. |

This is a set of 63 samples of the Yamaha DX-7 default ROM patch 23 "SYN-LEAD 1" and the associated Fantom-S/X Multi-Sample settings and Patch. This is a hard synth lead sound with lots of overtones, especially in the higher velocities. The samples include every 3rd key from C2 to C7 at 3 different velocity levels. |

These 2 patches are derived from the quadruple velocity cross-faded DX-7 patch "08 E.PIANO 1" which I sampled from my own DX-7's line output. I sampled every 3rd key from C2 to C7 at 4 velocity levels from pianissimo to fortissimo and created Fantom-S/X multi-samples based on those 84 individual samples. |
