Below are 16-bit, 44.1 kHz stereo VBR (Variable Bit Rate), minimum of192 kbps MP3 encodings of Roland's latest expansion board demo CD, "Expansion Audio Demo CD III." All audio recordings are copyright © 2001, Roland Corporation and are provided below for educational and informational purposes only with U.S. "fair use" copyright laws in mind (as if you were checking out the CD from your local library)
I have split up each track into the individual patches that are demonstrated in order to keep file sizes to a minimum.. If the file size is larger than 1 MB, I've noted so in parenthesis.
The CD insert has the message "All of the multi-Patch examples and songs were one realtime Performance on an XV-5080. No audio overdubbing was used to exceed the realtime capability of the unit."
Other Expansion Board Demos
The following MP3 recordings are demonstrations of the latest SRX expansion boards for the XV synths which are NOT on the Roland CD. I have compiled the demos from demonstration files on the Roland's US web site (http://www.rolandus.com). Most of these MP3s are varibale bit rate, 192 kbps minimum, 44.1 kHz, joint stereo encodings.
